David Ewing

My current position is as a mathematical modeller and statistician specialising in animal health and welfare, epidemiology and ecology. Some previous and current projects include modelling West Nile virus establishment risk in the UK, developing exact Bayesian inference approaches for outbreak data with applications to African swine fever and modelling climate effects on population dynamics of potato cyst nematodes. As part of my role I also provide statistical support to other researchers.
