David A Wilkinson

Having developed my interest in microbial epidemiology and evolution in La Reunion for 4 years and New Zealand for 3 years, I focus on the One Health framework, investigating vector-borne diseases and zoonotic microorganisms that cause disease in both humans and animals through classical microbiology, molecular epidemiology, advanced genetics and genomics. Generally speaking, I want to better understand and control pathogen circulation and dispersal with the hope of improving global health standards.
