个人简介
The lab studies bacterial pathogenesis using uropathogenic E. coli (UPEC) as a model organism. We use in vitro systems, cell culture, established (catheter-based) murine models of urinary tract infection. We have recently developed a novel mini-surgical model which permits infection of both male and female mice. We also work on topical delivery of bioactive agents to the urinary bladder, including nanoparticle development and small-molecule bladder epithelial exfoliants.
