David Macii (M'06, SM'2014) is an Associate Professor with the Department of Industrial Engineering University of Trento in Trento, Italy. His research interests include measurement and estimation techniques based on digital signal processing for mechatronics applications and power systems. He received the M.S. degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information engineering from the University of Perugia in Perugia, Italy in 2000 and 2003, respectively. He was a Visiting Researcher at the Berkeley Wireless Research Center, University of California at Berkeley in Berkeley, California, USA, as a Fulbright Research Scholar between 2009 and 2010.
