David Pacheco

I am the Principal Science Advisor - International at the NZAGRC, in New Zealand. My early career research focused on metabolism of amino acids in lactating dairy cows, as a post-doctoral fellow with Dr Helene Lapierre in Canada. I returned to NZ to research ways to measure and improve the efficiency of nitrogen utilisation from forage diets. More recently, I shifted my attention to understanding the dietary and digestive factors influencing methane production in the rumen.
