Professor David Thompson is Professor of Nursing at the Queen's University, Belfast, UK. He is also Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Adjunct Professor at Monash University, Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland, Distinguished Professor at Anhui Medical University and Visiting Professor at University College Dublin, La Trobe University and Liverpool John Moores University. His major research interests are the development and validation of cardiovascular patient-reported outcome measures and the design and evaluation of novel brief psychosocial interventions for patients and partners.
