He is the Head of Laboratory of Innovative Materials for Electrical Systems (LIMES) at DEI. He is in charge of the courses of Electrical Innovative Technologies. Design and Diagnostics of Electrical Insulation Systems and Fundamentals of Electric Plants and Safety. His research interests deal with nanotechnology applied to electrical materials, in particular insulating materials for high voltage, and electrical diagnostic systems. He is author of about 220 publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
