Denys Nikolayev (Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree (summa cum laude) in radiophysics from Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, Ukraine, in 2008, the Ph.D. degrees in electronics from the Institut d’Électronique et des Technologies du numéRique (IETR) Laboratory, French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Rennes, France, and in electrical engineering from the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, Czechia, in 2017, and the Habilitation á Diriger des Recherches degree from the University of Rennes, Rennes, in 2023. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with imec/Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium, until 2018, a Scientist at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) until 2020, and then joined the CNRS as a Senior Research Scientist (fr. Chargé de recherche). His research interests include theoretical foundations and engineering of wireless bioelectronics, biosensors, and electroceuticals. Dr. Nikolayev received the Best Ph.D. Dissertation Award by the Foundation Rennes One. He was a Laureate of the Eiffel Excellence Doctoral Fellowship from 2015 to 2016. He received the Young Scientist Award at European Medical and Biological Engineering Conference (EMBEC/NBC) 2017 and Student Awards at Bio Electromagnetics (BioEM) 2015 and URSI-France 2017. He was a co-recipient of the ANR–NRF PRCI Research Fellowship (2021; Agence nationale de la recherche, France, and National Research Foundation, Singapore).
