Dominique Ginhac received the M.S. degree in engineering and the Ph.D. degree in computer vision from the University of Clermont Auvergne, France, in 1995 and 1999, respectively. He joined the University of Burgundy, France, as an Assistant Professor, in 2000, and was promoted to a Full Professor in computer vision, in 2009. He was the Head of the Le2i Laboratory, from 2016 to 2019. He has recognized expertise in embedded computer vision, computational imaging, and real-time image processing. He has authored 40 international peer-reviewed journals and over 100 conference proceedings. His research interest includes deep learning on the edge applied to the analysis of human activities.
