Asian Investigator Award at the 53rd annual meeting of the Japanese Society for Inherited Metabolic diseases and the 10th annual symposium of the Asian Society for Inherited Metabolic diseases in 2011 in Chiba, Japan. He was a board member of the Asia Pacific Pediatric Endocrine Society (APPES) from 2010-2016 and was the host for the APPES fellow school in 2011 and APPES continuing medical education meeting in Hanoi. He is a principal investigator of the Vietnam site of the fourth international multicenter clinical trials, including congenital hyperinsulinism, enzyme replacement therapy for Hunter disease, and gene replacement therapy for spinal muscular atrophy.
