E. Pozdeyev

Eduard Pozdeyev received the Ph.D. degree in accelerator physics from the Michigan State University (MSU), East Lansing, in 2003. After graduating from MSU, he was with the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab), where he held a position of a Staff Scientist. His research at Jefferson Lab was focused on multipass beam breakup in energy-recovery linacs (ERLs). He has been an Associate Physicist with Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), Upton, NY, since 2006. At BNL, he was involved in the BNL R&D ERL project, working on multiple aspects of ERL physics and technology. For his research on the topic of collective effects in isochronous cyclotrons conducted at MSU, he was awarded with the American Physical Society Award for Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Research in Beam Physics.
