Elmi Muller

I am a general surgeon who has worked in the field of in transplantation since 2005. I have an active interest in promoting organ donation and transplantation and was The Transplantation Society (TTS) councillor for the Middle East and Africa between 2010 and 2014 and still serve on the TTS Executive. I was the Chair of the Declaration of Istanbul Custodian group between 2016 and 18. During my term we drove the update of the original 2008 document. I play an important part in the international transplant community and was the programme committee chair for the developing countries for the 26th and 27th International Congress of The Transplantation Society which took place in Hong Kong and Madrid.
