Bio

My expertise is in chemistry and biochemistry of tetrahydrobiopterin and ether lipids. My laboratory uses tissue culture, molecular biology, protein purification and HPLC analysis to study metabolic roles. Currently I am particularly interested in assigning genes to orphan enzymes in ether lipid metabolism and in defining a physiological role for alkylglycerol monooxygenase and plasmanylethanolamine desaturase.
