Francesca Chiocchini

Francesca Chiocchini currently works at the Reserch Institute on Terrestrial Ecosystems (IRET) of CNR, as Technologist III lev (fixed term contract). Main activities: Remote sensing and GIS methods for the detection of tree hedgerows in agroforestry systems, in the framework of SidaTIM project (Novel Pathways of Biomass Production: Assessing the Potential of Sida hermaphrodita and Valuable Timber Trees). Spatial analysis of stable isotope as natural tracers of biogeochemical processes, landscae ecology analysis and ISOSCAPE modeling approach to understand the complex interactions between the woody and crop components in agroforestry systems.
