Bio

I am a scientist at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and serve as the lead for the research group 'Coasts and River Basins' at the Earth Observation Center (EOC). My research centers on the dynamic intersection of global change, climate extremes, water dynamics, flood risk, urban development, and disaster risk reduction. I firmly believe in the power of EO and geospatial analysis to drive solutions for urgent societal and environmental challenges, spanning from local to global scales.
