Bio
Frédéric Vidal received the Ph.D. degree in polymer
chemistry from Lyon University, Lyon, France, in 1995.
He has been a Full professor with Cergy-Pontoise University, Cergy, France, since September 2009. He was with Prof.
German's group at Eindhoven Technology University, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, as a Post-Doctoral Fellow from
1995 to 1996. His research focused on the emulsion polymerization. He joined Cergy-Pontoise University as an Associate
Professor in 1997 and is currently the Director of the Laboratory of Polymer Physical Chemistry and Interfaces. His
current research interests include development of interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs), and conducting polymer,
and conducting IPN-based electrochemical devices such as electrochromic devices, supercapacitors, and actuators.
