G. Persichetti

Gianluca Persichetti received the Laurea degree and the Ph.D. degree in novel technologies for materials sensors and imaging from the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, in 2003 and 2010, respectively. He is currently a Senior Researcher with the Institute for Electromagnetic Sensing of the Environment (IREA), National Research Council of Italy (CNR), Naples. He is also a Physicist. A primary focus of his work is on the development of optofluidic sensors based on Raman and fluorescence spectroscopy. Another part of his activity is aimed at the development of sensors based on optical waveguides, ranging from optical fiber sensors to polymer waveguides manufactured by photolithographic processes.
