个人简介
Kyle G. Webber received the B.S. degree in marine systems engineering from the Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, ME, USA, in 2003, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, in 2005 and 2008, respectively.
In 2008, he joined the Institute of Materials Science, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Darmstadt, Germany, as a Post-Doctoral Researcher, where he was involved in the mechanical properties of ferroelectrics. From 2014 to 2015, he was an Assistant Professor with the Technische Universität Darmstadt. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Glass and Ceramics, Friedrich Alexander Universität–Erlangen-Nuremberg, Erlangen, Germany. His current research interests include temperature-dependent ferroelasticity, phase transformations, and fracture of single crystal and polycrystalline Ferroelectrics.
Dr. Webber was awarded the Emmy Noether Research Fellowship by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft in 2013.
