Bio

Dr. Garcia's research interest lies in the areas of medical imaging and bioinformatics. His main area of development has been in the field of quantitative analysis of cardiac images. His techniques have resulted in six commercial products used worldwide for quantifying myocardial perfusion images. He also developed the first computer interface for the real time acquisition and display of 2D-echo images.
