Dr Luke Gemming is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (Dietitians Association of Australia). Luke completed his dietetic training at the University of Wollongong in 2009 (MSc Distinction) and undertook a PhD at the National Institute for Health Innovation (NIHI), University of Auckland. Luke's PhD evaluated the potential of image-assisted dietary assessment methods. Luke has other research interests in exercise science with publications in energy balance, dietary assessment, and wearable technologies. Luke has seven years of research experience to date and a growing track record of peer-reviewed manuscripts. Luke was employed as a lecturer and the Public Health Domain Leader (New Zealand Dietitians Board Domains of Practice), Discipline of Nutrition and Dietetics, University of Auckland before he joined the University of Sydney in 2016 as a lecturer and Food Service lead for the Masters Nutrition and Dietetics program.
