Geonwook Yoo received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2005, the M.Eng. degree in biomedical engineering from Cornell University, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2011. He was a Senior Engineer at Samsung Electronics, from 2010 to 2014, and a Senior Researcher with the Korea Electronics Technology Institute, from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, he joined Soongsil University, Seoul, as an Assistant Professor with the School of Electronic Engineering. His research interests include III-N and ultrawide bandgap semiconductor-based devices, fabrication processes, and heterogeneous integration.
