George Collins

George Collins joined Calabazas Creek Research, Inc., San Mateo, CA, USA, in September 2002, and assisted with assembly and testing of RF guns and components. In May 2005, he became the Laboratory Manager, assuming the responsibility for all mechanical/electrical assemblies and brazing and welding operations. He also assists with mechanical design of complex assemblies, thermal and high-voltage processing, and design of brazing and welding fixtures. He is the primary interface between CCR’s laboratory operations, outside vendors, and suppliers. His also responsible for quality control of incoming parts and assemblies. He also takes primary responsibility of operation and testing of the labs RF equipment and products.
