George E. Carvell

George Carvell received the certificate in physical therapy from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, in 1971, the M.S. degree in medical science in physical therapy/neuroscience from Emory University, Atlanta, GA, in 1976, and the Ph.D. degree in anatomy/neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, in 1986. He is currently Professor of the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS), and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research for SHRS.
