Dr. Suh’s specialties in Emergency Medicine are Critical Care Medicine and Traumatology. Dr. Suh’s research group focuses on sepsis and resuscitation. Dr. Suh and his colleagues have studied signal pathways and change of proteonomics in patients with septic shock. Dr. Suh developed hemoperfusion method using dual pulsatile pump in paraquat poisoning Dr. Suh’s group has been coworking with Department of Medical Engineering for the development of filter to remove inflammatory mediators in septic shock and with Department of Microbiology to develop a new agent for the treatment of patients with septic shock. Dr. suh has been working on postresuscitation care in patients with cardiac arrest, especially hypothermia including CBF and detection of seizure during hypothermia. Now, Dr. Suh’s group is developing a Robot CPR system guided by echocardiograpy in co-operation with the Department of Biomedical Engineering and School of Convergence and Techonology.
