His primary research focus involves the use of large-scale computational hydrodynamic and magneto-hydrodynamic models, with a particular focus on massively parallel adaptive mesh methods. He has applied such techniques to formation of large-scale structure in the universe, the evolution of galaxies, and the birth of the first stars in Universe.
