Gujie Qian

I gained my PhD in minerals and materials engineering from The University of South Australia in 2011. Since 2008, my primary research has focused on the dissolution of sulfides, such as pyrite and chalcopyrite. Other research interests and activities include computational simulation of mineral bulk and surface structures, synchrotron analysis (SPEM, EXAFS, XANES, XFM, micro-XRD, etc.), surface analysis (XPS and ToFSIMS, etc.), and sustainable control of toxic ions such as Se and As in water resources. My research goal is to solve complex industry problems such as the acid and metalliferous drainage.
