Hao Chen

Hao Chen received the PhD degree in anatomy from Michigan State University. He is a full professor with the Department of Pharmacology, Addiction Science and Toxicology, University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He has a wide range of research interests, with a focus on genetic and genomics of substance abuse related phenotypes modeled using rats. In addition, his lab contributed to many transcriptome studies of brain regions critically involved in the reward circuitry. Lastly, his lab is working on using deep learning to analyze rat social behaviors.
