Harukazu Iguchi

H. Iguchi received the Ph.D. degree in physics from Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, in 1979. From 1977 to 1986, he was engaged in research on Nagoya Bumpy Torus (NBT), the Institute of Plasma Physics, Nagoya University. In 1987, he was with JET Joint Undertaking in England working for RF physics group. From 1988 to the present, he has been working for the low-aspect-ratio helical device (CHS) at the National Institute for Fusion Science, Oroshi Toki, Japan. His major work has been in plasma diagnostics for transport studies, especially on Thomson scattering, a heavy ion beam probe, and a lithium neutral beam probe.
