I have studied rupture behavior and process of earthquakes, especially the interaction between the fault segments and, for over a decade using cutting-edge seismic imaging techniques. I has also developed novel seismic techniques to reveal 3D subsurfacial velocity structure for enhanced geothermal systems like Utah FORGE, carried out seismic imaging on the crustal structure, and experiences substantial fieldwork.
