Haodong Li

Haodong Li (M’09) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Shenyang University of Technology, Shenyang, China, in 1999 and 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, USA, in 2008. He has more than 11 years of experience in design and simulation of innovative machines, drives, controls, and electromechanical components. He is a Senior Engineer with Advanced MotorTech, LLC, Pinellas Park, FL, USA. His main fields of interest include computer-aided engineering electrical machine design; modeling such as traction motor, high-efficiency motor, and high power density motor, etc.; and analysis of motor drives, thermal analysis, and coupled-physic field analysis.
