Hartmut Gehring

Hartmut Gehring is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein, Lübeck, Germany, and is actively involved in both basic science in biomedical engineering and clinical anesthesiology research. He is also active in fellow and resident education and in cooperation as Co-Fellowship Director with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, University of Luebeck. He serves on the Board of Directors of the German Society of Biomedical Engineering (www.DGBMT.de).
