Prof.Hashim is a board member of the European Association of Urology Section on Female and Functional Urology, the International Consultation on Incontinence Urodynamics committee and an Associate Editor of Neuro-urology and Urodynamics and BJUI Compass journals. He is committee member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons section of Female, Neurological and Urodynamics Urology and the European Association of Urology Male Lower Urinary Tract guidelines.

He has authored over 90 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 40 book chapters and 7 books, and is a reviewer for several national and international journals. He has also been an invited speaker to national and international meetings and has taught urodynamics both nationally and internationally.
