Hee-Jo Lee

Hee-Jo Lee (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree (Hons.) in physics education from Daegu University, Gyeongsan, South Korea, in 1998, and the M.S. degree in physics and applied physics and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2004 and 2010, respectively. From March 2010 to 2012, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in electrical and electronic engineering with Yonsei University and the Graphene Research Institute, Sejong University, Seoul. From April 2012 to August 2014, he worked as a Research Professor in mechanical engineering, and electrical and electronic engineering with Yonsei University. From September 2020 to June 2021, he was a Visiting Professor in mechanical engineering with Pohang University of Science and Technology, Pohang, South Korea. Since September 2014, he has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Physics Education, Daegu University, Gyeongsan, South Korea. His main research interests are in the areas of electromagnetic wave and field theory, computational electromagnetics, RF/microwave bio and gas sensing platforms, RF/microwave circuit modeling, and characterization of carbon nanomaterials, including graphene, graphene oxide, and carbon nanofiber, and electromagnetic metamaterials.
