Helene Felice

Helene Felice (M'09) received the master degree in engineering from the Ecole Nationale of Electricity and Mechanics, Nancy, France and the Ph.D. degree on high field accelerator magnet design from the Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine. She carried out her Ph.D. thesis work at CEA Saclay, Gif sur Yvette, France and then moved to the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), Berkeley, CA, USA, as an LHC Accelerator Program Toohig Fellow. In 2009, she became a Research Engineer with the LBNL. She has contributed to several high-field magnet designs as part of the U.S. LHC Accelerator Research Program (LARP). She is currently in charge of the support structure design and development of the LARP 4.5-m focusing quadrupole prototype for the LHC Hi-Lumi upgrade. She is also leading the effort on the design of the electron cyclotron resonance source magnet for the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams.
