Hideto Takami

Hiroshi Takami was born in Oita, Japan, in 1960. He graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering in 1985 and received the M.S. and Dr. Eng. degrees from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 1985 and 1992, respectively. He was a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Yamaguchi University, from 1985 to 1993. Since 1993, he has been a Research Associate at Kyushu University. His main research areas are control technology for linear motor systems and simulation and experimentation of linear motor Maglev systems. Dr. Takami is a Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan and the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers of Japan.
