Hirofumi Hashimoto received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Graduate School of Agricultural Science from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. He is currently a research scientist of terrestrial remote sensing and modeling at the Division of Science and Environmental Policy, California State University Monterey-Bay and NASA Ames Research Center.
