Ho Yu Cheng currently works at the The Nethersole School of Nursing, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ho Yu does research in Nursing Science, particularly in mental health and cardiovascular disease. She is interested in developing intervention based on psycho-physiological mechanisms to manage these interwined conditions. Previously, we have developed a theory- and evidence-based intervention to support the stroke caregivers, whose health are at risk due to the provision of complex care. Our team is currently testing the effects of a manipulation of autonomic function by caregivers on post-stroke depression.
