Yu Hsiao-hua

Hsiao-hua Yu was born in Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. He received the B.S. degree in chemistry from National Taiwan University and the Ph.D. degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, in organic chemistry. He worked on design, syntheses, and applications of molecular actuators. He was recently appointed as a Senior Research Scientist with the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, Singapore, where he is carrying out research projects on biosensors. His research interest is developing and utilizing molecule and nanoscale tool kits to provide solutions for biotechnology.
