Yu-Juei Hsu

Yu-Juei Hsu received the M.D. degree from the National Defense Medical Center, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1997, the Ph.D. degree in medical science from Radboud University Nijmegen, Nijmegen, the Netherland, in 2009. He was the chief resident of Nephrology division of Tri-Service General Hospital from 2003 to 2004. He became faculty in Nephrology division in 2004. Dr. Hsu is currently the Chief in the Division of Nephrology, the deputy Director of Department of Medicine, Professor in National Defense Medical Center and a Member in IRB board. Dr. Hsu’s research interests include mineral and bone disorders, and cardiovascular disorders in chronic kidney disease. He was the recipient of the best intern and resident during his medical training, Excellent Research from Taiwan Society of Nephrology in 2003 and in 2016, Young Investigator from National Defense Medical Center in 2008, Excellent Military Physician of Medical Affairs Bureau in 2014 and in 2021, and Excellent Teacher of National Defense Medical Center in 2018.
