Zhang Hui

Hui Zhang was born in Heilongjiang, China, in 1967. She received the B.S. degree in biology from the Harbin Normal School, Harbin, Heilongjiang, in 1990 and the Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from the State Key Laboratory of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2005. She is currently a Professor of physical chemistry with the College of Chemical and Environmental Engineering and the Key Laboratory of Engineering Dielectrics and Its Application, Harbin University of Science and Technology, Harbin, China. Her research interests focused on the basic theory of quantum chemistry and application, such as the mechanism of radical reaction and the catalytic reaction mechanism of enzymes. She investigated the reaction mechanisms and by-products forming and evolution process in high-voltage insulation at the atomic and molecular levels.
