Hui Zhang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Southern California. He was the Head of Systems Research Department at NEC Laboratories America, focusing on Research and Development for high-performance distributed systems and networks, especially P2P network algorithms and big data analytics. He is the Senior Director of the Blockchain Platform Division, Ant Group, and also the Head of the Blockchain Laboratory at Alibaba Damo Academy. He is responsible for the Research and Development and Commercialization of Ant Group’s blockchain technology.
