I am currently studying the neurobiological underpinnings of various biological rhythms in humans, mice, and flies. How are they generated? How are they influenced? What are the implications of their disruption on both physiology and behaviour? What treatments might be useful to restore proper rhythmicity? I am attempted to answer these questions foremost in flies, then translating these discoveries into mammals with the eventual hope of providing clinically effective interventions.
