I. I. Esakov

Igor I. Esakov received the graduate degree from the Radio Technical Faculty, Moscow Aviation Institute, Moscow, Russia, in 1978, the Ph.D. degree in plasma physics from Moscow Radiotechnical Institute (MRTI), Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Moscow, in 1989, and the Dr.Sci. degree in plasma physics from M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow, in 2011. He has 25 years of experience in plasma physics researches, in particular, in physics of gas discharges in microwave electromagnetic radiation. He is the Deputy Director of MRTI. He is an expert in the area of physics of discharge plasma, gas dynamics, and engineering of high-power electro-physical installations.
