Inmaculada Pascual

Inmaculada Pascual was born in 1962. She received her MSc degree in Physics from the University of Granada in 1985 and her Ph.D degree in Physics from the University of Valencia in 1990. In 1986 she joined the Optics Department at the University of Alicante. In 2000 she was appointed Full Professor of Optics in the Department of Optics at the University of Alicante. she has carried out research in the fields of holography, mainly on holographic recording material, holographic optical elements and optical data processing and storage, and visual optics in intraocular lenses. This research has given rise to 125 articles published in specialized journals. She has been the main researcher in twelve research projects, infrastructure grants, complementary actions and research group grants subsidised by the Education and Science, Science and Technology and Science and Innovation Ministries of Spain, and has participated in other projects and research grants. She has advised several Degree theses, Third cycle research studies, End of degree projects and she has directed seven PhD theses.
