Isaac Hands

ISAAC HANDS is currently the Associate Director of the Cancer Research Informatics Shared Resource Facility at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center, and the Associate Director of Cancer Informatics for the Kentucky Cancer Registry. He is a graduate of both MIT and the University of Kentucky, and has spent the past 11 years leading the development of the statewide Cancer Patient Data Management System in use at all non-federal hospitals in Kentucky, as well as leading the development and deployment of novel informatics methods and applications for cancer research at the Markey Cancer Center. Isaac also serves on the Board of Directors of the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) and is the Chair of the NAACCR Data Exchange Standard Workgroup.
