Jeffrey C. Neal

Jeffrey C. Neal received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Southampton, Southampton, U.K., in 2007. Subsequently, he has been with the University of Bristol, Bristol, U.K., as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Fellow. He is currently funded by the Leverhulme Trust as an early career Research Fellow. Previously, he has been funded by the Flood Risk Management Research Consortium, which is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and the Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs/Environment Agency joint Research Program on Flood and Coastal Defense. His research interests include the development and analysis of numerical models for predicting river flood flows in large river systems, flood risk estimation, and data assimilation.
