Jeffrey Michael Freedman currently works at the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center, University at Albany, The State University of New York. Jeffrey does research in Boundary Layer Meteorology, Renewable Energy, Climate Change, and Extreme Weather. Current projects include a study of how climate change will affect the distribution of renewable energy globally and in New York State, and the development of an extreme winds forecast tool for utilities.
