Jacinta E. Browne

Jacinta E. Browne received the B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Dublin, Ireland, in 1997 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in ultrasound physics from the University of Glasgow, Glasgow, U.K., in 2003. She is a Lecturer with the School of Physics, Dublin Institute of Technology. Her research interests include ultrasound physics and the development of tissue mimicking phantoms for biomedical applications. Dr. Browne is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine and is a Chartered Physicist with the Institute of Physics.
