Pitarch Jaime

Jaime Pitarch was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1979. He received the Dipl.Ing. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunications engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Valencia, Spain, in 2002 and 2008, respectively. He was a Research Assistant with the Grupo de Electromagnetismo Aplicado (GEA), Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, from 2001 to 2008, and an Associate Lecturer with the Applied Physics Group, University of Girona, Girona, Spain, from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, he joined the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag), Dübendorf, Switzerland, as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. His current research interest includes developing models for the retrieval of freshwater body constituents from satellite-borne optical sensors.
