Jan Fořt received the Ph.D. degree in physical and materials engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague, Prague, Czech Republic, in 2015. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Materials Engineering and Chemistry, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. His research activities are focused on the experimental and theoretical analysis of heat, moisture, and chemical compounds transport in porous materials, utilization of the waste, and by-products in the framework of the development of the new building materials, implementation of the phase change materials into the structure of plasters, experimental study of alkali-activated materials, and economic and environmental assessment of building materials.
